VICTORIAN ivory etui circa 1867.
Each piece is matching and the kit is perfectly complete... even the hinges
match the items as they are all dotted. Included inside are sterling silver
sewing necessities: scissors, needle case, thimble and punch. On the front is a
Coat of Arms and the words
"British
Expedition of 1867 to Abysinnia". This particular etui was made for a family
member of Lieutenant General Sir Napier who led the expedition.

gilt sterling silver sewing necessities: scissors, needle case, thimble,

punch. On the front is a Coat of Arms and the words
"British Expedition of 1867 to Abysinnia". This particular etui was
made for a family member of Lieutenant General Sir Napier who led the

VICTORIAN child's platform
rocker is in wonderful condition, a grandchild's delight!. The hand worked
needlepoint seat has white, yellow and green daisies on a chocolate brown
background. Made of beautifully finished hardwood, it is well detailed with
a floral and stylized molding. The the springs have been replaced some
time ago (note photo). This circa 1875 American piece is a very rare find.
Measuring 24 1/2" in height, it has a width (side to side) of 12" and a
depth (front to back) of 17". Shipping in US is included in the price.
