HAR
The HARGO Jewelry Company
of New York made jewelry thought to date in the late 50's and into the 60's, but it is otherwise something of a mystery. Some of their best pieces are the wildly creative figurals
with fantasy stones like those shown below. Although some Har pieces
resemble the jewelry by "Art", and Har also used certain stones in common
with Florenza.

The design of this bracelet is amazingly like that of the Har
green dragon. 18K ENAMEL ROSE CUT SALAMANDER BANGLE.
Belgian mid 19th century, control mark representing a horse’s head (that was in use in Belgium from
about 1831). This style, in gold with enamel and shiny stones, was also fashion
in France at that time. It is embellished with green enamel, its eyes are 2 red
stones lined with gold. In the middle of its body is set a line of rose cut strass stones. On its head is set an old mine cut strass
stone. The end of its curly tail shows 39 rose cut diamonds. Engraved with a date: 'Le 6 juin
1849' and 2 names with a crown: 'Albert à Nancy' (Albert to Nancy).
