ROUSSELET necklace with glass beads in cranberry and green and artificial pearl petals, wired to floral volutes and with glass bead spacers. Marked "Made in France" on the back of the clasp. By the French maker Rousselet with characteristic elements and construction for the designer Robert Piguet, circa 1950. Although it is unsigned it is very well documented. The necklace is 15-1/2" by 7/8" .   View   View   #X34427 FRENCH cranberry glass beads bib necklace with huge glowing beads, clear rhinestone rondelles, milky translucent glass beads, and brilliant colorless rhinestones in dangling prong settings. Most likely French based on the construction and all the materials, including the screw barrel clasp. The gold tone metal is heavily antiqued on the front, giving a nice contrast to the beads.
