DUJAY band member fur clip with colorful enameling and clear rhinestones, man with drum, patent 17925 for 1939, 2-1/8". These band series fur clips are very rare and really detailed, beautifully executed. This clip is in excellent condition, as though it was never worn.  According to Brunialti's "American Costume Jewelry: Volume I" on Page 162,  the DuJay band series was designed by Jacques H Leff in 1939. There are 5 members of the band: a drum major, a drummer, a trombone player, and French horn player and a bass drum player.  View   Patent   #X36844 DUJAY band member fur clip with colorful enameling and clear rhinestones, man with trombone, no maker's mark but it is patent #17926 for 1939, 2-1/8".
